Marriott Zurich - M Club Lounge

JOI-Design brought the next generation of executive lounges to life in Zürich with Europe’s first M Club Lounge. The studio’s vision to create a sanctuary for retreat, relaxation, work and enjoyment is realised through a concept designed to evoke this special locale’s strong connections with nature. Inspirations from Lake Zurich, the Limmat River and the mountainside panorama in the distance are expressed in a palette of monochromatic earth tones enriched with splashes of blue.

What was the basic idea behind the project?

The basic idea was to renovate the existing, eight-year-old lounge by implementing the new “Marriott Modern” guidelines. M Club is the new lounge concept of our brand Marriott.

What did you particularly like about JOI-Design’s concept?

We chose JOI-Design because they created a very attractive design that takes all Marriott specifications into account.
