Strandhotel Norderney

Here you can hear the sound of the waves and the screeching of the seagulls right outside your window. The Strandhotel lives up to its name: the guest rooms have a sea view and convey the atmospheric impression of a captain's cottage, paired with casual Hamptons chic and a modern twist with an open bathroom behind tinted glass.

The rooms were designed with a relaxed stay on the island in mind: warmly wrapped in a woollen jumper, you can let the wind blow around your ears during a walk on the beach and then return to the hotel - with a cup of tea in a rocking chair. Your gaze wanders back a little to old pictures of the place by the sea, and there it is again, the woollen jumper.... and lots of memories of little anecdotes from the East Frisian island in the North Sea.
