• 1993 degree (diploma) of interior design in Detmold
• 1993 – 2000 employee at joehnk. Interior Design in Hamburg
• Since 2000 manager of joehnk. Interior Design AG Zurich (Switzerland)
• Since 2003 managing director of JOI-Design GmbH in Hamburg
• Since 2004 member of the BDIA (Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten)
• Since 2004 member of the „Hamburgischen Architektenkammer”
• 2007 – 2019 appointment to the independent inscription committee of the interior design department in the Architectural Association Hamburg
• Since October 2011 interior design course tutor at the University of Applied Science in Co-burg
• Since 2018 partner at JOI-Design Innenarchitekten A D joehnk + partner mbB
