2013 – Colours for Hotels

Colours for Hotels is JOI-Design’s pioneering reference guide exploring the science of colour for the hotel industry. Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, co-managing director of JOI-Design, conceived this new book in partnership with Professor Axel Venn, an expert in colour physiology and psychology, and trend researcher Janina Venn-Rosky. As the first academic study to specifically investigate the impact of colour upon hotel environments, its content is based not only upon JOI-Design’s extensive interior design experience but also upon research conducted especially for this report.
