Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Iserlohn – Products curated by JOI-Design
About the project: a family-run hotel in the midst of the forest and adjacent to the local recreation area around the Seilersee. This is a place for culinary delights, family celebrations, conferences in the countryside and moments of wellbeing in the spa. The pared back interior design not only harmonises with the surrounding landscape, it lets the natural beauty take centre stage: soothing, serene and casually elegant.
KFF, Bank 'Arva' (DE)
The restaurant "Fetter Förster": the name says it all – from the midst of the forest, we are immersed in symbiosis between nature and the interiors. The ambience: restrained yet cosy. The benches, upholstered with grey felt, express exactly the right attitude to life: modern and relaxed.
Tom Dixon, pendant lamp 'Melt', Copper version (GB)
The pendant lights infuse a touch of warmth in front of the abstract 'Förster antlers' on the wall. The irregularly shaped glass sculptures dance in the reflection of the copper shade, forming a dialogue between the room’s rich oak timber and the morning dew on the forest leaves outside.
Freifrau, barstool 'Ona' (DE)
Super comfortable with an inviting, rounded shape that appears light and delicate, these barstools’ clean procession along the counter support the spirit of the venue and therefore were the perfect choice for us.
Bocci, pendant lamp '73.1Vm' Sculptural Cable (CA)
Once again we have dancing lamps: this time dotted throughout the room like vibrant lanterns garlands at a garden party. But here we are inside, with the lights bringing a touch of informal festivity to the naturally elegant interior design.
Freifrau, barstool ‘Kya’ (DE)
These barstools are more reminiscent of a saddle than a tall chair. Different seating options in the bar give guests the option to choose between seats with or without backrests. This model of barstool certainly adds a bit of extra fun and a lot of natural charm.
Bocci, wall lamp '14s / 14sp' (Canada)
Guests in the lobby sit under a sea of lights: even from a distance, the spherical luminaires cast a spell as if saying, “take a seat – you've come to the right place!”
COR, sofa 'Jalis' (DE)
A sofa for lounging: in terms of design language and effect, it looks more like an oversized cushion than a bench. And upon trying it out, you know it fulfils its promise: a perfect invitation for a rejuvenating pause.
