The hotel’s structure was converted to create open-plan public areas connected by a modern yet timelessly elegant design language that flows from space to space. A new extension holds a restaurant designed with a casual, contemporary approach. Plentiful timber in the interiors and greenery hung from the ceiling emphasise the venue’s immersion in nature.

In the reception area, relics from the old days were preserved: a historic fireplace and the staircase’s wrought-iron detailing. Now framed within a newly designed niche, the antique ensemble also conveys the necessary zeitgeist of modernity.
