JOI-Design goes to India

An invitation from Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces to visit Mumbai in early 2018 resulted in our cooperation on two projects for its Vivanta and Ginger brands. We created a new design language that casts each marque in a fresh new light, with the concepts for the Vivanta in Bangalore and the Ginger in Goa becoming the standard for these brands’ other hotels around the globe.

In order to best serve our projects in India, we work very closely with JOI-Design India, our local partner that not only represents us in the region, but also shares our values for design and quality of work.  

The Ginger in Goa opened in December 2018, and Vivanta Whitefield in Bangalore is expected to reveal its transformation from the middle of this year. In the meantime, further projects have been signed. We are thrilled to have joined such a dynamic market and for many exciting opportunities on the horizon in India.
