Job Description
To support our team, we are looking for business interns (m/f/d). As one of Europe’s leading interior architecture and design studios with more than 35 years of experience in hospitality design, JOI-Design has successfully realised more than 500 hotel projects both nationally and internationally. Our focus lies on developing exclusive and design driven concepts for the international hospitality and cruise ship industry, as well as creating brand architecture solutions for modern office environments with a strong New Work character.
The creative and multidisciplinary teams at our interior architecture studio in Germany and our partner office in India consist of experienced interior architects, architects, engineers, graphic designers, artists and product designers. Together, they create unique and socially relevant living environments for a wide variety of target groups as a response to the constantly changing needs of everyday life. To support our team, we are currently looking for a student intern (m/f/d).
What we expect from you:- You are creative, motivated and would like to complete a mandatory internship as part of your Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture?
- You are looking for an internship position for preferably 3–6 months at one of Europe’s leading hospitality design studios?
- You are proficient in Photoshop and AutoCAD, ideally also in InDesign, and preferably have good English skills as well as a driving licence?
- Please understand that we do not offer school internships.

Junior Interior Designer/-in (m/f/d) Full-time

To support our team, we are currently looking for a Junior Interior Designer (m/f/d).
Your responsibilities:
- Learn about the entire process of exciting hotel projects across all project phases, supported by experienced designers
- Accompany projects from the initial design concepts through to final realisation
- Contribute your own ideas and commitment within a collaborative environment with flat hierarchies
What you should bring:
- Completed degree in Interior Architecture (Bachelor’s degree)
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D), common Microsoft Office applications, Adobe programmes (especially Photoshop), and 3D software (preferably Rhino, SketchUp or Revit)
- Motivation, organisational skills and flexibility
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A reliable, structured and independent way of working
- Required language skills: English, additional languages are an advantage
