AC by Marriott Berlin Humboldthain Park – Products curated by JOI-Design
About the project: We are staying in Berlin and are coming to a completely different project - the AC by Marriott at Humboldthain Park makes references to the nearby park and to the namesake, the natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt, which gives the city hotel a very natural touch.
Pendant lamp ‚Ronde‘ Pendant, Fabrikat Gubi (DK)
The pendant lights in various sizes float above the dining tables and draw in a second imaginary level, which marks a certain island of calm for the seats below and, through the black, creates a turning point in the context of natural tones.
Chair ‚In Between‘ SK2 by &Tradition (DK)
The shape is reminiscent of the metal classics in the ice cream parlor - but made entirely of wood, they underline the natural brackets that hold the hotel together in terms of design. Different seat cushions sensitize the discovery of the details at second glance.
Wall lamp ‚Streck‘ by Örsjö (SE)
A little library character with picture lights gives the room living room quality. The natural themes in the pictures refer to the guiding principle of the house: 'Living in the countryside' in the middle of the city.
Pendant lamp ‚Cosmos Suspension Rectangular 180‘ by Quasar (NL)
Alexander von Humboldt's research and studies also extended to astronomy. The lamp above the bar is reminiscent of his work.
Side tables 'Egon Round' CoffeeTable by Alki (FR) & cork stool 'Bombetta' by Discipline (IT)
When combined, the side tables look almost playful like small animals in the room. That aims exactly at the atmosphere that we wanted to achieve: natural, lively and a little playful.
Perch Light ‚Branch‘ von Moooi (NL)
The 'birds on the pole' complete the feeling of dining in the park or having a sundowner. The indirect lighting also provides atmospheric light and puts a smile on every visitor's lips.
Outdoor seating ‚Bitta‘, Fabrikat Kettal (ES)
Live the living space outside as well, a symbiosis of inside and outside. This is very important here by creating a spacious terrace with comfortable furniture that supports the quality of stay in a very positive way.
