Olympus Campus Hamburg - Products curated by JOI-Design
About the project: the new building for Olympus' European headquarters in Hamburg illustrates a symbiosis between brand, architecture, and the next generation of inspiring working environments – all spread across 35,000 square meters and 11 stories of planned interior design space for 1,200 employees.
Chandelier, Light Couture (GER)
In the foyer is a chandelier equipped with 1,568 individually controlled light-emitting diodes. Elegant and soothing, it mesmerises visitors and alludes to the lenses of Olympus’ scientific instruments.
Sofa, Wittmann Möbelwerkstätten (AT)
Olympus’ DNA shines through with a white colour palette accented by the brand’s signature shade of blue. The company’s Japanese heritage pairs with hospitality-industry influences, exemplified through furniture choices such as this beautifully curved sofa from Wittmann.

Floor lamp, Hope, Luceplan (GER)
Here’s another nod to Olympus’ medical instruments: as if composed of individual sections of optical lenses, this floor lamp casts inviting plays of light on the wall.
Chair Shrimp, COR Sitzmöbel (GER)
This armchair is used across the lower two stories of the building: its design language embodies the perfect combination of modernity and comfort.
Amelie Barstool, Freifrau (GER)
The light, pared-back Amelie barstool appears to almost float, yet provides comfortable seating with its low, gently curved backrest.
Flor lamp, Superloon, FLOS (DE)
This lamp immediately attracts attention: reminiscent of lamps used in photography studios, it directs attention for focused meetings of the minds.
Conference Chair, Silver 362S, Interstuhl Büromöbel (DE)
A conference chair with a wow factor: radiating power and modernity, yet simultaneously lightness and elegance – plus it’s comfortable – it won us over.
