Fraser Suites Hamburg – Products curated by JOI-Design
About the project: A challenging and very exciting task for us - the conversion of an office building (in this case the former regional finance office) into a luxury hotel in the middle of Hamburg and in a listed building.
Armchair ‚Cleo‘ von Rossin (IT)
In order to contrast the classic building with a few contemporary accents, we have used a few statement pieces in the lobby: Here an asymmetrical high-back chair that offers the guest a little privacy in the hall thanks to the high upholstery.
Armchair ‚Bart‘ von Moooi (NL)
Next to it a contrasting model, but no less self-confident: the upholstered armchair, quilted all around in a waffle pattern, makes a counter-statement with its solid figure.
Fabrikat Flos, ‚IC Lights‘ Floor 2 (IT)
An equally modern accent in the library: this time through the puristic design language of a floor lamp. The ball as a luminous body seems to be gently balanced on the angular frame and gives the lamp a calming charisma.
Kettal, armchair ‚Cala‘ (ES)
We literally had to fight for this armchair, because not at first sight predestined for a fine dining restaurant, it conveys the lifestyle of an orangery for the room.
Artemide, ‚Tolomeo Tavolo‘ micro in Gold (IT)
We love lights! And that's why even the small workstation on the gallery got its own signature lamp. The miniature version of the classic desk gets an extreme upgrade due to the golden version and therefore fits perfectly into the concept.
Tobias Grau, Pendant lamp ‚Falling‘ (D)
Also a lighting highlight in the guest rooms: In the classic ambience, the spot as a purist counterpoint - and a 'local hero' too, because the design and product come from Hamburg!
Pouf ‚Ben‘ by JAB (D)
Practical can also be stylish: you pull 'Ben' towards you with the loop - at the same time it forms a fashionable accessory.
