What was the basic idea behind the project?
To make the lobby’s ‘M Club’ become an exclusive lounge welcoming all guests. This accompanied the conversion of a former bakery section, thereby returning it to profitable use. Logistics were massively simplified by creating a direct connection to the kitchen, which increased quality, especially in the dining area, due to shorter distances.
What did you find particularly like about the concept of JOI-Design?
JOI-Design’s fitting concept forms an oasis for our most loyal customers - despite the lounge’s relocation from the sunny 43rd floor with its city views to the lobby area with insufficient natural daylight.
